Tours start with a guide for the first couple of stops, then you’re free to explore the rest on your own, as fast or slow as you like. Most guests spend around 60 minutes at JAMNOLA.

We strongly recommend booking in advance to secure your spot and avoid wait times. Whether buying on-site or at home, all tickets must be booked through the JAMNOLA ticket page.

We are a cashless facility; we accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

• Students (18+), Military, First Responders, Teachers, and Healthcare Professionals: save $5 when booking a timed entry ticket(You will see this option when selecting appear when booking your ticket.) Please bring a valid ID the day of your visit.
• Louisiana Residents: take advantage of our Louisiana Local's discount of approx 50% off, available for timed entry Monday/Thursday/Friday visits. Please bring proof of LA residence the day of your visit.

JAMNOLA is located in the Marigny at 940 Frenchmen St, New Orleans, LA 70116 (a 10-minute walk or 5-minute rideshare from the French Quarter).

Street parking is available but limited(especially on weekends). Paid lots at 2135 and 2150 Decatur St. are just a 2-minute walk away.

• Streetcar: The Rampart–St. Claude line(Route 46) stops at St. Claude Ave & Elysian Fields Ave, about a 9-minute walk from JAMNOLA. For current schedules, maps, and real-time updates, visit the RTA trip planner: New Orleans RTA – Route 46 Schedule & Map **be aware, streetcars may have delays, give yourself extra time for this option!

• Bus: The #55 Elysian Fields and #91 Jackson-Esplanade routes stop nearby.

Strollers: While we can't store them during your visit, you are welcome to walk through with them.

How Long Does JAMNOLA Take:
Most guests spend about one hour total, and there is no hard end time once your tour begins.

Timed Entry Ticket Start Time:
Please plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your ticketed start time. If you are running late, we will do our best to accommodate you, but it is not guaranteed.

Flex Ticket Start Time:
Flex ticket holders may arrive any time during operating hours, as long as you arrive before the last hour of the day.

• JAMNOLA tours are for the most part self-guided; guests spend on average one hour total.
• Your Guides:
  While JAMNOLA is not a formal step-by-step tour, you'll find Storytellers throughout to answer questions, share the history and stories behind each exhibit, and help you capture the perfect photo.

• Restrooms are available both in the lobby and inside the exhibit.
• Please note that food and beverages are not sold or permitted inside in order to protect the artwork.

JAMNOLA's gift shop, The Jam Shoppe, is open during all JAMNOLA operating hours and is accessible without a ticket. You can also shop online anytime.

JAMNOLA has something for every generation- from a kids' scavenger hunt to rich cultural experiences for adults. Please note that children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

JAMNOLA is fully wheelchair accessible and ADA compliant.

We want everyone to have the best time possible! Please leave food, drinks, and firearms at home before your visit. Only licensed service animals are welcome inside.
